Sandra Wilson Harris has been playing the harp professionally for over 13 years and has a music major from Agnes Scott College, but more importantly, she has had the opportunity to play in many diverse settings and provide entertainment for some very special people: the late Eudora Welty, Margaret Thatcher, Loren Hollander, Mississippi Governor Fordice, and Senator Trent Lott. She has played for many different events and in many beautiful settings: at the elegant Mississippi governor's mansion and Monmouth Plantation, at Ameristar Casino in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Dillard's special events, hospital appreciation dinners and receptions; anniversary, cocktail and retirement parties, baby and wedding showers, country club brunches, a dinner to honor a new medical associate, art gallery, bank and antique store openings, open houses, fundraisers for the YMCA, Muscular Sclerosis, and the Kidney Foundations; lots of Christmas parties, lobbies of office buildings at Christmas, New Year's Eve and rehearsal dinners, and hundreds and hundreds of weddings and receptions. Genuine caring, adaptability and flexibility along with a real love for the art are the fortè of Sandra Harris.
